VTG 1930 ELECTRICITY SHOCK MACHINE 1C COIN OP PENNY ARCADE CARNIVAL SHOCKER.
This item is for decor or restoration.
This item is the exact item you will receive as seen in the pictures. This is a 1930s (possibly 1940s) penny arcade machine. You place a penny in the coin slot, turn the dial and the machine provides a shock. As you turn the right handle the shock increases. The machine requires a battery and it is not included. This has not been tested with a battery. I do not know if this works correctly when a battery is attached as it has not been tested with a battery. Listed below is what has been tested any condition concerns of note. I have tried to describe this to the best of my knowledge but happily welcome any questions or additional picture requests.
-The coin slot accepts pennies and the dial turns when a penny is inserted.
- The gears turn and run when a penny has been inserted and the dial turned to deposit the penny.
- The left knob turns and the arrow on the shock intensity scale moves when the knob is turned.
- The intensity scale has a glass cover which is intact but does have a small piece on the corner that is broken off (this cannot be seen in the pictures but I can provide a picture if desired). This is only visible from inside the machine.
- The key slot appears as if it would function correctly but has not been tested because I do not have the key.
- There is obvious dirt from age, paint fading & chipping, some rust, minor scrapes and other minor cosmetic damage
- All 4 original rubber feet are present as well as the patent markings on the bottom of the machine.
- There are 2 non original stickers for 'Red Dot Cigars' that have been affixed to the front of the machine. Based on the fading and dirtiness of the stickers, I assume these have been on this machine for quite a number of decades.
Shipping:
This will ship in protected foam inside a very sturdy and durable box to ensure the contents are well protected I'm transit. This will ship fully insured and will require signature confirmation to ensure you and you alone receive this package. This will ship with USPS priority mail and will be fully tracked. I am always happy to work with you on shipping alternatives in order to keep your costs down.
Thanks for looking and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
